Privacy Policy

The following information provides a concise overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit our website. Personal data is all data by which you can be identified personally. Our website can normally be used without entering your personal data. Insofar as personal data can be collected on our websites, this is always done on a voluntary basis if possible. We process your personal data (e.g. title, name, address, email address, phone number, banking details, contract number) in accordance with the provisions of data protection law, in particular, the General Data Protection Regulations and the German Data Protection Act. The following provisions provide information on the nature, scope and purpose of the collection, processing and use of personal data.

This Data Privacy Statement relates to our websites. If you are forwarded to other sites via links on our websites, information on the processing of your data is available on those sites. We should advise you that data transfer via the internet (e.g. communication via email) may be vulnerable. Complete protection of data against access by third parties cannot be guaranteed. Section 1 Automatic data capture

When you visit our website, the IP address currently used by your device, date and time, browser type and operating system of your device, the visited pages and website from which you are visiting us (referrer URL) are logged. This is required from a technical viewpoint, in order that we can display our website to you, and guarantee stability and security. Legal basis for this is the first sentence of point (f) of Article 6(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation. This anonymous data is stored separately to the personal data, and therefore cannot be attributed to a specific person.

Section 2 Personal data, storage period, your rights

The personal data which you send to us e.g. within an order, via a contact form or email (e.g. your name and your contact data), are only processed for the purposes of correspondence with you and for the purpose for which you have provided the data.

We warrant that we shall not forward your personal data to third parties, unless we are obliged to do so by law, or if you have provided us with your consent to do so. Insofar as we engage third party services to perform and execute the processing, we shall comply with the provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act. Personal data, which has been sent to us via our website in accordance with the law, shall only be retained until the purposes for which it has been entrusted to us have been fulfilled. Insofar as commercial and fiscal retention periods must be met, the storage period of certain data may be up to 10 years.

If you no longer consent to the storage of your personal data or if it is now incorrect, we shall arrange for the erasure, rectification or blocking of your data on your explicit instruction within the scope of the statutory provisions. On request, you shall receive free access to all your personal data which we currently hold. Section 3 Analytics

With the information that your browser automatically transfers (browser version, operating system, referrer URL, content and time of the request), we can analyse the behaviour of our website users. This allows us to measure interactions such as the length of visit, conversions (e.g. registrations, downloads), clicks and page views. These interactions are allocated to the website user for the duration of the current day. We do not collect any information that allows us to identify a user. The analysis is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise his website.

Section 4 Information about cookies

Cookies are used to detect whether the same user visits the same website several times. Cookies are small text files which your internet browser places and stores on your computer. When you visit our site again, these cookies share information in order to automatically recognise you.

Section 5 Plugins and tools

Vimeo: Our website uses plugins from the video portal, Vimeo. Provider is Vimeo Inc., 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA. If you visit our websites which are equipped with a Vimeo plugin, a connection to the Vimeo servers will be established. This will notify the Vimeo server about which of our websites you have visited. Vimeo will also obtain your IP address. This shall also apply if you are not logged into Vimeo or do not have a Vimeo account. The information recorded by Vimeo is transferred to the Vimeo server in the USA. If you are logged into your Vimeo account, you enable Vimeo to attribute your surfing directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your Vimeo account. Vimeo is used to display our web pages. This is a legitimate interest pursuant to point (f) of Article 6(1) GDPR.
