PRIVACY NOTICE

The following information provides a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit our website. Personal data is any data that can be used to identify you personally. For detailed information on the subject of data protection, please refer to our privacy policy listed below this text.

As a rule, it is possible to use our website without providing personal data. Insofar as personal data is collected on our pages, this is always done, as far as possible, on a voluntary basis. Your personal data (e.g. title, name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, bank details, contract number) will be processed by us in accordance with the provisions of data protection law, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation and the Federal Data Protection Act. The following regulations inform you about the type, scope and purpose of the collection, processing and use of personal data.

This data protection declaration refers only to our website. If you are forwarded to other sites via links on our pages, please inform yourself there about the respective handling of your data. We would like to point out that data transmission on the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible. If a business relationship already exists between you and us, you can download the special data protection information relating to the respective insurance relationship here. If you have entered into a business relationship with us after 25.05.2018, you will also find our "Data protection initial information" with your insurance documents.

§ 1 Automatic data collection

When you visit our website, the IP address currently used by your device, the date and time, the browser type and operating system of your device, the pages you view and the website from which you visit us (referrer URL) are logged. This is technically necessary for us to display our website to you and to ensure stability and security. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f of the General Data Protection Regulation. This anonymous data is stored separately from any personal data you may have provided and thus does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about a specific person.

§ 2 Personal data, duration of storage, your rights

The personal data that you provide to us, e.g. when placing an order, via a contact form or by e-mail (e.g. your name and contact details), will only be processed for correspondence with you and only for the purpose for which you provided us with the data.

We assure you that we will not otherwise pass on your personal data to third parties unless we are legally obliged to do so or you have given your express prior consent. Insofar as we use the services of third parties for the execution and handling of processing procedures, the provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act will be complied with.

Personal data that has been disclosed to us via our website in accordance with the law will only be stored until the purpose for which it was entrusted to us has been fulfilled. Insofar as retention periods under commercial and tax law must be observed, the duration of storage of certain data may be up to 10 years. Automatically logged data is generally deleted automatically after seven days.

If you no longer agree to the storage of your personal data or if this data has become incorrect, we will arrange for the deletion, correction or blocking of your data within the framework of the legal provisions on the basis of a corresponding instruction from you. Upon request, we will provide you with information free of charge about all personal data that we have stored about you. If you have any questions about the collection, processing or use of your personal data, for information, correction, blocking or deletion of data, please contact:
